Ms. Mendez is Director of Accounting for Maya Capital Partners and oversees all accounting functions of the parent company and its subsidiaries.  Ms. Mendez is a seasoned accounting and finance professional with over two decades of experience spanning corporate finance, higher education, and strategic leadership.

Most recently, Ms. Mendez served as Interim Chief Financial Officer at University Radiology Group, where she led teams through complex organizational transitions,optimized financial operations, and driven strategic initiatives across multiple entities.

Lakiesha also served as an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at institutions such as Stockton University, sharing her practical industry experience with students and supporting the development of future finance professionals.

She holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Ramapo College of NewJersey.
